Hospitality Education Foundation of Georgia

Hospitality Education Foundation of Georgia is focused on giving direct support to educate Georgia’s culinary and hospitality high school programs through innovative events, industry based training, and relevant in-demand resources.  Regardless of their economic situation, teens need access to a full range of opportunities and experiences. By inspiring teens, we instill memories that will affect them forever. Grades rise, they stay in school, communities thrive, and new career paths are discovered.  They can only follow in our footsteps, if we show them the way.  Every student deserves a chance.

Hospitality Education Foundation of Georgia's premiere events:

Hospitality Career Expo:  This annual career awareness event brings dynamic well established companies from every area of hospitality face-to-face with 3,000 passionate culinary and hospitality students and their teachers. This educational show is designed to introduce the emerging workforce to the infinite diversity of career options available to them and the vibrant people that work in those positions today.  Free t-shirts, educational resources, scholarships, networking, and innovative interactive games. 

State Competition:  Two different high-stakes competitions for high school students take place over one exciting day.  45 executive chefs and foodservice VIPs judge Georgia's best students in either the business competitions and 3-course cook-off.   This is a Top Chef Challenge for high school students.  It's hard, hardcore, and hard to stop watching. The winners receive medals, trophies, scholarships and an all expense paid trip to the National Competition.
