The United Food and Commercial Workers Western States Council is the regional coordinating body for 11 UFCW local unions in Arizona, California, Nevada and Utah. The council represents over 200,000 workers in these states and advocates in the political and legislative sphere to improve their lives. UFCW members work in the healthcare, retail, retail food sectors as well as all other parts of the food chain. UFCW is committed to working with diverse communities and political allies to ensure that working families have a strong voice in public policy and labor issues. The UFCW Western States Council is a part of the 1.3 million member strong UFCW International Union.
