MISSION

Using a global network of volunteer effort, and the collective skills of experts in healthcare, CardioStart International provides free heart surgery and associated medical care to children and adults living in underserved regions of the world, irrespective of political position or religious creed.

VISION

CardioStart International aspires to provide greater hope and support to families with children and adults afflicted with heart disease in the underserved regions of the

world by....

• assisting in the development of advanced heart care and related specialties;
• performing complex heart operations using the local facilities;
• providing ongoing training and educational programs;
• empowering local medical teams with the skills, equipment and means to increase the level of care for their patients

We are an international, VOLUNTEER, humanitarian charity whose

medical experts perform FREE heart and lung surgery in children

and adults. This also includes complete family care support and

orphanage assistance to patients who live in underserved countries

throughout the world.

CardioStart International embraces CardioStart UK and CardioStart USA which has two chapters. We will

assist any country in need, irrespective of any political position

or religious creed.

We have completed 49 overseas missions in 21 different countries

utilizing experts in the medical and technical fields, as well as

non-medical volunteers throughout the world. We have performed

540 corrective heart surgeries on children and adults and have a

morbidity/mortality level matching the world's top medical centers.
