Madhyamaka Centre is a thriving Buddhist meditation centre situated in the York area just outside the town of Pocklington, in the north of England. Founded in 1979 by Geshe Kelsang Gyatso, it is one of the largest and most well established Buddhist Centres in the UK.
Madhyamaka Centre is one of over 1000 Buddhist centres in the UK and internationally that form the New Kadampa Tradition – International Kadampa Buddhist Union.
