A nonprofit organization for 20 years in Lawrence MA, the National Empowerment Center’s mission is to carry a message of recovery, empowerment, hope, and healing to people with lived experience with mental health issues, trauma, and extreme states. NEC also works to transform the mental health system and influence society to allow people to live full, and meaningful lives in the community.
