Comfort for Court Kids, Inc.

WHO WE ARE: Comfort for Court Kids®, Inc. is a 501 (c)(3) publicly supported charity founded in 1992, by attorney, L. Ernestine Fields, for the specific mission of helping abused and neglected children cope with their experiences at Dependency Court.

WHAT WE DO: The Teddy Bear Program - The Teddy Bear...a universal symbol of love and affection...®, is given to the children to help them through the confusing and often intimidating experience while at court.

Fostering Comfort - a new grant program where, through a simple application process, youth in non-relative foster homes or group homes can receive funding for education-based or enriching activities. These grants will allow them a way to further increase their chances for a brighter future and will help to provide them with opportunities they might otherwise not receive in a group home or foster care setting.
