Pathway to Home is a Rome/Floyd County nonprofit working to create a permanent, affordable, supportive housing community for individuals experiencing chronic homelessness. Our mission is to empower people experiencing housing insecurity to build pathways toward stable and thriving lives.

We believe safe and stable housing is foundational to rebuilding a life. Using the proven Housing First approach, Pathway to Home is developing a community of small, private homes where residents can have the dignity and security of a place of their own while also having access to supportive services. These services will be provided through community partnerships and may include healthcare, mental health support, case management, employment assistance, life-skills training, and food resources.

Our values center on dignity, compassion, inclusion, collaboration, and hope. We believe people experiencing homelessness should not be defined by their circumstances. With housing, encouragement, supportive relationships, and access to needed resources, people can regain stability and move toward healthier, more independent lives.

Pathway to Home is being built as a true community effort. We are seeking volunteers, organizations, churches, businesses, service providers, and neighbors who believe everyone in Rome and Floyd County deserves the opportunity for safe housing and a path toward a better future.
