ABOUT SHAREWELL
At ShareWell, we cultivate brave and generous thinkers. Through arts, immersive play and real-world action, we guide children and youth to recognize injustice and possibility within their communities and beyond, and to take meaningful, collaborative and collective action to create a better future. ShareWell is comprised of two main initiatives: the Cayton Children’s Museum--opening in spring 2019 in Downtown Santa Monica--and youTHink, an innovative youth development program.
ABOUT CAYTON CHILDREN'S MUSEUM
For the past 30 years, the Zimmer Children’s Museum by ShareWell has encouraged youth to find their voices and play their way to a better world through interactive exhibits and arts-based programming that promote creativity, diversity, collaboration and social responsibility. In Spring 2019, the Zimmer Children’s Museum will re-imagine itself as the Cayton Children’s Museum, opening its doors at the highly coveted Santa Monica Place in Downtown Santa Monica to become one of Los Angeles’ leading cultural institutions and family destinations. The new museum will offer more than 20,000 square feet of interactive space, permanent and temporary exhibits, classes, public programs in arts, music, movement and a curated museum gift shop to attract an upward of 250,000 visitors a year.
