Our resources include a Research Library, a Museum with changing exhibits, a photo archive, and an extensive collection of artifacts. We offer school programs and tours of our 1699 Hoyt-Barnum House. The History Center is dedicated to community enrichment through the presentation of exhibits, displays, special events, demonstrations, and participatory programs that have as their objective a population enlightened by an understanding of the past and committed to an objective vision for the future. As the Stamford History Center, we have a responsibility to all citizens of our community to preserve the varied experiences that reflect our cultural heritage.
