LAKEWOOD RANCH COMMUNITY EMERGENCY RESPONSE TEAM INC

LWR CERT is neighbors helping neighbors since 2006. Our members are FEMA trained and help the Lakewood Ranch, Florida community become more resilient. We sponsor community education sessions on topics such as hurricane preparedness, avoiding COVID-19 scams, dealing with pet emergencies, and active shooter response. LWR CERT trains and prepares our members to step up before first responders arrive.

Our members are the backbone of our organization. No special skills are needed; just a desire to help your neighbors in times of need. The initial FEMA training is supplemented with skills refreshers and additional trainings throughout the year. We are always looking to grow our membership so we can better serve the residents in Lakewood Ranch.
