Afghan Women's Fund

AWF supports the works of several different grassroots organizations and volunteer groups in Afghanistan. Such as the organizations which are working with widows and orphans for education, empowerment of women, and health issues. These and other groups are seeking to raise the currently deplorable level of health care and maternal and pediatric care in Afghanistan. AWF promote Afghan women through the creation of safe forums where Afghan women can network, develop programs to meet their specific needs, and participate in human rights advocacy in the international sphere.
