Our mission is to empower the next generation of female and gender non-conforming leaders through personal mentorship, public policy education, issue advocacy, and professional skill building. Girls are divided into issue-based cohorts and participate in ten weeks of Girls Lobby curriculum throughout the Utah state legislative session. They learn to track bills, testify at hearings, write editorials, and plan protests. Girls Lobby hopes to create increased confidence, civic engagement, and community participation.
