Village Alliance

The Village Alliance is a not-for-profit business improvement district located in the heart of Greenwich Village. The organization was founded in 1993 with the mission of creating a cleaner, safer, greener, attractive and enjoyable neighborhood. We accomplish this by providing supplemental sanitation and public safety services, graffiti removal, landscaping and beautification initiatives, economic development and community revitalization initiatives, business marketing and promotions, streetscape enhancements, public art, tourist information and free walking tours. The Village Alliance works with city agencies & acts as a liaison between property owners & commercial tenants to promote tourism, improve neighborhood conditions and enhance the quality-of-life for all its constituents.
