The Chamber’s vision is to marry long-term environmental principles into every day home and business practices through education, sharing, and advocacy.

Our purpose is to provide networking opportunities and facilitate the exchange of relevant information on sustainability to our membership. We would like to see our Chamber become the central hub for growing businesses around long-term thinking that includes conserving, preserving, saving, and providing community benefit.

How do we build into our operating systems the most efficient use of energy and water? How do we maximize our capture of waste energy and water? How quickly can we transition to xeriscape at home and work?

We plan to help our members achieve the goals of the Climate Action Plans in our region and state. How do we reduce are pollution emissions and cut greenhouse gases? How do we get to using 100% renewable energy?

Who provides the products and services that will make the differences economically and environmentally? These are some of the many challenging areas we will explore together.
