Brain Injury Services

Brain Injury Services mission is to provide survivors of brain injury and their families with individualized, community based services through comprehensive case management, education and advocacy.

Brain Injury Services was established in 1989 to meet the needs of survivors with a brain injury and their families in Northern Virgnia. As the organization expanded a community living program, and two day programs were developed. BIS was also instrumental in establishing two day programs in Virginia Beach and Fredricksburg. Services are based on a person centered philosophy, supporting self-determination.
