A Brighter Tomorrow for Africa (BTA) is a 501(c)3 organization founded to help women and children in Sierra Leone, West Africa by working along side community-based organizations. This ensures that the help goes directly to the people who need it most. The website, www.brighterafrica.org, provides a great deal of detail about the work BTA is doing, including feeding 600 children a day in a school lunch program in the Upper Banta Chiefdom of Moyamba. We are also working with women to learn to read and write, and have established Peace Clubs in select northern province schools to help teach those who have experienced atrocities during the war, how to resolve conflicts peacefully.
