Fauntleroy Church, United Church of Christ

Fauntleroy Church, United Church of Christ is a vibrant, growing southwest Seattle-based church with strong missional ties to serving the community and a progressive message of faith. The church has been active since 1906, is the only church in the U.S. with a YMCA inside its building, is an advocate and ally for the LGBTQ community, the homeless and immigrants. The church was begun in an effort to serve the children of the Fauntleroy community, and a sense of ongoing care for children exists within the church's Christian education program and Reggio Emilia-inspired preschool (now 67 years old).
