Lacey Rail-Trail Environmental Committee

T he Lacey Rail-Trail Environmental Committee was founded in 2000 as a grassroots, 501(c)(3)non-profit, nonpartisan organization dedicated to watershed improvement, habitat protection, ecological stability and pedestrian safety issues in Ocean County. We promote alternate modes of transportation, the preservation of the Central Jersey Railroad Right of Way in Lacey Township exclusively as a bike and pedestrian trail in an effort to achieve quality of life and to preserve natural resources for generations to come.
