Volunteers for Community Development (VOCOD)

VOCOD, Volunteers for Community Development, is a non-governmental, non-profit community development organisation that is dedicated to serving the rural populace in divers areas of needs.

We help communities in building school infrastructres ranging from Computer/Language Labs, Arts & Music resource Centers to classroom blocks at large. We also help in establishing and sustaining School farm/garden projects amongs others.

We help in giving the youths skills-based training in diversified areas and also help in talent development.

At VOCOD, we help our women on self-help projects by giving them skills-based training, microbusiness advice and small loans to support their trades.

Our communities are unique apart from the fact that there are general problems that are common to all of them. So, we give problems individual approach where necessary.

We use Volunteering as a tool for community development. We partner to impact communities for change and development.
