University of Botswana School of Medicine is Botswana's first medical school, with it's first intake of MBBS students in 2009 and MMED (specialty/residency) students in 2010. The department of emergency medicine coordinates all emergency care education for MBBS students and coordinates the emergency medicine MMED program.
