Nicolaysen Art Museum

The Nicolaysen Art Museum and Discovery Center is a cutting edge contemporary art museum located in a beautiful, historic power plant in Casper, WY. The museum features over 10,000 square feet of exhibition space along with a large family-friendly hands-on Discovery Center. The museum was founded in 1967 and renovated in 1990. The Nicolaysen Art Museum is a strong community partner that presents roughly twelve temporary exhibitions a year along with public art projects, art festivals, community concerts and major fund raising events and galas. The NIC is currently undergoing the AAM accreditation process and welcomes over 55,000 people through its doors each year. www.thenic.org
