Foote is a not-for-profit school for children in Kindegarten through Grade 9. Since its founding in 1916, Foote has reflected its motto: "Gladly will I learn and gladly teach." We nurture a lifelong love of learning and teaching in our students and faculty. Committed to excellence, teachers lead children to question, to discover connections, to think independently, and to learn by doing. Our community is inclusive; we value difference and challenge prejudice. We give our students the skills to explore the world's complexity with joy and purpose and to respect themselves and each other.
