The Boston Schoolyard Initiative is a public-private partnership that transforms Boston’s schoolyards into centers for recreation, learning and community life. Our education program works with BPS teachers and schools to use the schoolyard, including outdoor classrooms designed for teaching and learning, to improve academic achievement.
