The Floating Freedom Foundation is dedicated to advancing education and literacy for underserved communities, inspired by the legacy of The Floating Freedom School. The Floating Freedom Foundation Inc. is a nonprofit organization committed to promoting literacy and educational access, particularly for marginalized and historically underserved communities. Named in honor of The Floating Freedom School-a secret school on a steamboat that provided education to enslaved individuals-the foundation carries forward its legacy of resilience and empowerment through learning.
