National LGBTQ+ Bar Association

The National LGBTQ+ Bar Association is a national association of lawyers, judges and other legal professionals, law students, activists and other affiliated LGBTQ+ legal organizations. The LGBT Bar promotes justice within and via the legal profession for the LGBTQ+ community in all its diversity, and it aspires to improve the quality of life for LGBTQ+ legal practitioners and law students until the time that LGBTQ+ legal professionals are recognized without discrimination, stigma or negative bias.

The organization has taken a leading role in many different advocacy efforts.

Additionally, the LGBTQ+ Bar has worked closely with members of Congress to protect and promote equality for LGBTQ+ individuals. Along with many committed members, the LGBTQ+ Bar also helps to educate the LGBTQ+ community about the ever-changing policies surrounding tax law, family law, and more following the monumental Supreme Court decisions.

Every year, the sharpest legal minds in the LGBTQ+ community gather at our Annual Conference and Career Fair, Lavender Law, an event featuring over 60 programs and a career fair with over 180 recruiters.
