Massachusetts Affordable Housing Alliance

The Mass. Affordable Housing Alliance is a statewide coalition working to increase both public and private investment in affordable housing. We organize a grassroots Home Buyers Union in Boston and a union in the suburbs of Greater Boston. MAHA has won over $1 billion for affordable mortgages at below market interest rates, hundreds of millions of dollars in local and state government funding, and an affordable housing investment pool funded by insurance companies. MAHA also runs comprehensive home buyer, homeowner, and financial planning workshops.
