Acerca de

The mission of the California Tuberculosis Controllers Association (CTCA) is the elimination of the threat of tuberculosis from California through leadership and the development of excellence in tuberculosis prevention and treatment.

CTCA is an organization of physicians, nurses, and allied health professionals engaged in tuberculosis (TB) control efforts serving the state of California. CTCA consults with the California Department of Health Services/Tuberculosis Control Branch (CDHS/TBCB), professional societies, and voluntary health organizations to establish goals, priorities, and standards in TB control.

The activities of CTCA are supported through state funding, conference revenue, and a key partnership with the American Lung Association of California. An elected Executive Committee directs the organization's work. This Committee as well as the sub-committees and workgroups respond to issues in the TB community such as the guidelines for TB practice and performance standards in in California.

CTCA also offers professional education through their annual conferences and meetings.
