RePower Madison is comprised of citizens whose immediate goal is to persuade Madison Gas & Electric (MGE) to drop their proposed billing scheme and support customer options for rapid expansion of renewable energy & energy savings.
RePower Madison’s next goal is to tell the public about the damage from MGE’s proposed billing scheme and rouse citizens to action while the Public Service Commission is deciding on the proposal.
RePower Madison’s long term goal is to spur MGE to implement a nation-leading plan that will reduce Madison’s dependence on carbon polluting fuels, while fostering economic development and equity.
