With knowledge comes power, and that’s why poverty eradication begins with education. On the continent of Africa, less than 50% of primary school-aged children are enrolled in school. Of those schools, the majority of them do not have the proper facilities or materials to provide their students with a proper education.
Our mission focuses on distributing backpacks filled with educational supplies to students living in rural areas of Southeast Africa. We also provide scholarships for students who excel academically in school and don’t have the means to pay for their education . Since 2014, Backpacks for Africa has impacted more than 1,300 students in the country of Malawi.
