Waste Warriors has one aim: to tackle India's garbage problem. Currently we have two projects running, one rural (Dharamsala) and one urban (Dehradun).
Our mission is to promote and provide affordable and sustainable waste management systems that improve our environment, health and quality of life through a combination of direct action, liaison, education and awareness-raising. We want to reduce the social stigma attached to waste and ensure waste workers are respected and paid fairly.
