Homeless Children's Network (HCN) strives to break the cycle of homelessness by providing relevant, effective mental health and family support services to homeless children and their families from around the world that find themselves in Northern California, empowering them to overcome the limitations of their circumstances and strive for a healthy, productive future.
Our clinical staff is comprised of therapists who have expertise working with the diverse needs of homeless families. Committed to the proposition that "culture heals" ("La cultura cura."), HCN's multicultural staff employ treatment interventions that are clinically-sound, sensitive, and responsive to cultural and linguistic differences in various communities. We also employ a strengths-based approach to our work by building on the assets and expertise of the families we serve.
