EXTEND THE DAY

We are a Seattle based organization, but work all around the world. Extend the Day works with locally run and operated non-profits in the areas of need. This allows us to be culturally sensitive and have the ability to monitor the lights. Some of our project locations are Bolivia, Kenya, India, Bangladesh, Nepal, and Myanmar. This simple solar light will help children in disadvantaged countries to improve their future through education, while also riding the need to use kerosene oil to burn for light. The health effects of the use of kerosene is equivalent to smoking 40 cigarettes a day! The harm and diseases this causes can be so easily avoided!
