LEAF ( Leadership, Ecology, Action, Fellowship) Academy at Presidio Hill School is a cutting-edge program that inspires children to engage with ecological systems and supports teams of students as they collaborate to change the way their school communities impact the environment. LEAF students, who are middle schoolers, spend two weeks in the summer with environmentally committed teachers, learning the basics of ecology in the San Francisco Bay Area. They then take their new knowledge and dedication back to their home school communities and put it to use on environmentally friendly projects.
