Our goal is to transform the process of fundraising, fostering access to great investors who value founders individually. We provide underrepresented entrepreneurs the voice and the power to access capital in a safe and inclusive environment, create equal opportunities for talented entrepreneurs, and provide underrepresented entrepreneurs the voice and the power to access capital in a safe and inclusive environment.

FairFunders is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit with a mission to help underrepresented founders build successful startups and connect with investors. We advocate for diversity and inclusion in both the startup community and the venture capital industry. We are a Y Combinator alumna and new Venture Partner at Pioneer Fund, an NSF SBIR grant awardee, and a psychotherapist-turned-founder. Together, we're committed to increasing the number of diverse teams of startup founders who successfully raise funding.

As female founders, we have experienced firsthand the unique challenges of raising funding for our startups. In July 2017, we heard numerous stories of females experiencing harassment and discrimination, and we realized something needed to change. We are a group of female founders who came together from around the world with the shared desire to make raising funding more equitable.

The result?

Our 501(c), FairFunders Inc. was established with the goal of ensuring that everyone-regardless of race, gender identity, sexuality, disability, and economic background-has an equal chance at building their vision.
