Hospice Advantage provides comfort, care and compassion for the patient and family. Volunteers are an essential part of our philosophy of care and recognizes that those living with life-limiting illness deserve the support and compassion that hospice provides. We have volunteer opportunities for 1:1 patient visitors, social service assistance, music therapy, massage therapy, pet therapy for licensed animals, and bereavement support. At the heart of hospice, volunteers provide care and compassion to patients and their families who are on hospice care by offering friendly visits to families, engaging patients in conversation or reminiscence, and assisting in office tasks or household duties as needed. We are eager to connect your unique abilities to the needs of or patients and their families.
