Action on Armed Violence (AOAV) is a UK-based non-governmental organisation working to reduce the incidence and impact of armed violence. Our work includes research, policy development and advocacy, and field-based programmes. Our research and policy work currently focuses on the issues of armed violence and development, and the humanitarian impact of explosive weapons, including IEDs, cluster munitions and landmines.
