Gainesville Health Care Center is a 180 bed nursing facility that offers short-term rehabilitation, long term care, memory care, palliative care and hospice care.

Our experienced and caring interdisciplinary team of physicians, nurses, nutritional services, social workers and physical, occupational and speech therapists are committed to achieving and maintaining the maximum health potential for each of our patients and residents and a smooth transition for our short term patients returning home.

Our team invites the patient and family to participate when generating a plan of care that is appropriate for each patient. Our care team is experienced in a wide variety of complicated medical problems including diabetes, cardiac problems, wound care, post surgical care, orthopedic rehabilitation, gastrointestinal disorders including those that require tube feedings and many others.

Our experienced staff can also offer your loved one care for many medical problems other facilities in our area don’t offer. These include tracheostomy care, wound care including wound vacs and total parental nutrition.

Our facility invites family and friends to visit 24 hours a day and pet visits are welcomed. We also offer a wide variety of on site activities and socials so we have something to suit each individual’s needs and interests and we invite family and friends to participate in our social activities with their loved ones.
