MLKFS fully embraces the vision of the late Reverend Martin Luther King, Jr. of the “beloved community.” As a multi-cultural and multi-service agency dedicated to being “Keepers of the Dream,” MLKFS nurtures and empowers the aspirations of individuals, families and youth to achieve new realities of peace, social and economic justice, self-determination, self-actualization, and self-sufficiency.

MLKFS helps this vision come alive through programs which address some of the most pressing needs of the community. This includes after-school literacy-based programming, a family skill-building program, a college readiness academy, health and nutrition services, and a range of other programs and services designed to help our community grow and thrive. With a dedicated board of directors, talented staff, and a corps of highly committed volunteers, we are poised to grow our impact, and we are seeking a leader who will successfully lead the agency forward.
