Presbyterian Hope in Action (PHIA) is an outreach ministry launched by several Presbyterian congregations in New York City to support the ongoing work of rebuilding homes and restoring the lives of New Yorkers affected by Superstorm Sandy. Working in partnership with other local and national groups, PHIA recruits and provides coordination and support for volunteers, connecting them with meaningful opportunities to engage in the ongoing rebuilding effort.
