Art For Progress is a nonprofit arts organization committed to the cultivation and support of emerging artists working in diverse genres: the visual arts, fashion, digital multimedia, music, and new media. Based in New York, AFP provides opportunities, services, and resources to emerging artists, while raising awareness of the importance of arts education in the public schools.
AFP offers showcases to member artists at events in New York and elsewhere, and, through its grant programs, supports arts organizations, arts education programs in the NYC public schools, and individual artists. Through artforprogress.org, AFP continues to build an extensive network of artists and supporters of the arts.
