Conference Host/Greeter

JTYPL is hosting a conference for TEDxUStreetWomen.

TEDxUStreetWomen is a volunteer-driven initiative dedicated to showcasing ideas that spark meaningful conversations and inspire change. Our mission is to amplify the voices of women and individuals from all walks of life through thought-provoking talks and community engagement.

We need hosts/greeters. As a Host/Greeter, you will play a vital role in ensuring the success of the TEDx experience by warmly welcoming attendees, speakers, and VIP guests. You’ll create a positive and memorable experience for everyone involved, fostering an atmosphere of enthusiasm and professionalism.

Various Roles

1. Speaker Room - November 3 9am - 5pmo Support speakers by providing guidance, answering questions, and addressing their needs before and after their talks.

   o Maintain a calm and focused environment in the speaker preparation area.

2. Registration Area - November 3 9am -5pmo Greet attendees with enthusiasm and professionalism.

   o Assist with the check-in process, including distributing badges and event materials.

   o Provide clear directions and answer general event-related questions.

3. After Party - November 3 5pm - 9pm
   1. o Welcome guests and direct them to designated areas.

      o Help create a celebratory and inclusive atmosphere.

      o Assist with basic logistics, such as seating and flow of activities.

• Pre-Registeration: Monday November 03, 2025 - 09:00 to 12:00 EST
• Speaker Room Host: Monday November 03, 2025 - 09:00 to 12:00 EST
• Registration Area: Monday November 03, 2025 - 11:00 to 15:00 EST
• Speaker Room Host: Monday November 03, 2025 - 11:00 to 17:00 EST
• General Host: Monday November 03, 2025 - 12:00 to 17:00 EST
• After Party Host: Monday November 03, 2025 - 16:00 to 21:00 EST
