    Director of Calling Development

Queens College of Theology (QCT) is seeking a passionate, experienced ministry leader, educator, or scholar to serve as our Volunteer Director of Calling Development.

This is not a traditional academic role.

This is an opportunity to help students identify God's calling on their lives, design customized educational pathways to fulfill that calling, and build a team of mentors who will help guide them along the way.

If you have spent years serving in ministry, teaching, mentoring, leading organizations, or developing leaders, this role allows you to invest that experience into the next generation while maintaining a flexible schedule and meaningful Kingdom impact.

This is one of the most influential volunteer leadership positions at Queens College of Theology.

    About Our Calling Development Program

    Most colleges tell students:

"Choose from one of our concentrations."

    We do the opposite.

At Queens College of Theology, students help create their own concentration based on the specific needs of their ministry, church, career, and calling.

A student pursuing church revitalization may need an entirely different educational pathway than someone preparing for chaplaincy, counseling, apologetics, nonprofit leadership, discipleship, church planting, or missions.

Rather than forcing students into a pre-built academic track, we work alongside them to build a concentration specifically designed to help them become experts in the areas where God has called them to serve.

The Director of Calling Development oversees this entire process.

    Why Volunteer?

There is a special kind of joy that comes from helping someone discover God's purpose for their life.

You may never stand in the pulpit they will pastor.

You may never visit the mission field they will serve.

You may never meet every person whose life they will impact.

But your guidance can help make all of it possible. You will see the results of your students actions, and take pride in knowing you helped contribute to the fruits of their success. Your impact goes beyond a student, but helps communities around the world.

As Director of Calling Development, you will help shape future pastors, missionaries, counselors, chaplains, church planters, nonprofit leaders, educators, and ministry innovators.

You will recruit and develop mentors who are developing future leaders.

You will multiply your influence far beyond what any one individual could accomplish alone.

If you love seeing people grow, succeed, and step boldly into God's calling, this role will be deeply rewarding.

    This is more than volunteering.

    It is discipleship.

    It is mentorship.

    It is leadership development.

    It is Kingdom multiplication.

It is an opportunity to leave a lasting legacy in the lives of future ministry leaders.
