Be a part of Vitalant's lifesaving mission! As a blood drive coordinator, you will encourage blood donors in your area to join you in service of a common goal - saving lives. If you want to be part of an activity that helps people, or you have a specific desire to honor the memory of a loved one who needed blood, earn community service hours or elevate your organization's presence in the community, the time to act is now.

We’re looking for dedicated blood drive coordinators to support the blood supply. While our donation centers play a vital role for blood donors, blood drives engage donors where they live, work, learn and worship, making the generous act of blood donation convenient for people in rural and urban communities alike. Many more blood donations - particularly those from first-time donors - are given at blood drives because they were organized by a volunteer like you, and blood drives can take place almost anywhere, from churches, businesses, recreation centers, libraries, schools and more.

As a blood drive coordinator, you will:

• Play a key role in organizing and supporting mobile blood drives
• Engage and recruit prospective blood donors
• Educate others about the constant need for blood & encourage sign-ups
• Coordinate blood drive schedules and logistics with direct support from a dedicated local Vitalant account manager
