Are you looking for an exciting volunteer opportunity to do hands-on work? We have multiple options to fit any schedule! Whether you want to dive into our Habitat Home Build Site for half (4 hour) or full (8 hour) shifts, or if you’re looking for a quick way to help with our Micro-Shift offering two-hour signups, we’ve got you covered!

Our Mission

Greater Erie Area Habitat for Humanity is changing lives and communities and building hope through decent simple homeownership in partnership with volunteers and community support.

Our program is open to all who are eligible. Who can volunteer? Anyone 16 years and older can volunteer.

Our house builds depend heavily on volunteers who assist families to build their homes.

1. We are building house #81.
2. 1730 East 26th Street - new build. 4 or 8 hours.
3. 1730 East 26th Street - new build. 1.5 to 2 hours
4. In April, we will break ground on houses #82 and #83 for families of 4 and 6 people.
   1. One will be a handicap accessible house for Na'rael with cerebral palsy.

ReStore:

• Assist our manager with donations dropped off at our ReStore to unload them and/or sort/clean donations.
• Assist our drivers to pick up donations in our box truck.
