Tech Savvy Volunteers Needed to Teach Seniors (60+) MyChart

Search and Care is an over 50 year old Upper East Side nonprofit that works to help older adults remain safely and comfortably independent, would love to have you as part of our Technology Coaching Team!

We are seeking tech savvy individuals that have experience using telehealth applications, especially MyChart. We have launched a telehealth assistance program for seniors age 60+ and are seeking volunteers to assist seniors set up and navigate telehealth apps.

Our agency’s "Silver Circles" computer education program provides one-on-one and group sessions to help older adults use technology on varying devices.

Our client's are located in Manhattan, and their homes can range from East 72nd St. - E 138th Street on the east side, and West 60th St. to W112th street on the west side so we are looking for volunteers who are comfortable with traveling.

We're seeking technology coaches who can help in-person with one or more of the following:

One-On-One Telehealth Coaching: Helping older adults through one-on-one in-person sessions with learning how to use telehealth applications (especially Mychart) on their digital devices (computers, tablets, smartphones, etc.) - in whatever ways fit each client's needs and interests.

Technology Workshops: Assisting in either presenting or assisting participants on how to use their telehealth applications on their tech devices (phone, computer, tablet, etc.) during a workshop.
