Volunteer for Petfinder page

Be part of our ongoing efforts to save the lives of high risk shelter dogs!

Companion Animal Protection Society, a national animal protection organization, is seeking a volunteer to maintain our Petfinder page. We help save the lives of at-risk dogs at Kern County Animal Services in Bakersfield, CA, which often has well in excess of 400 dogs, through social media, a Petfinder page and other means. In less than four years, APS' efforts have saved the lives of around 425 animals.

You will be responsible for inputting information and photos about dogs at the shelter and updating their statuses.

We can train you. Fast and accurate word processing skills are essential. Please be available for at least a minimum of 10 hours a week.
