About Us
Mpowered Menopause is a national nonprofit igniting a movement to empower, inform, and support people experiencing menopause. We fund groundbreaking research, drive innovation in care, and work to break the silence around menopause through advocacy, education, and community engagement.
About the Role
We're looking for a business development–minded volunteer to help build out the Community Health Fair at our signature event, the Millions 4 Menopause 5K, happening October 3, 2026, in Prospect Park, Brooklyn. This role focuses on outreach to hospitals, health systems, clinics, wellness brands, and other health organizations to secure their participation as exhibitors and partners at the fair.
What You'll Do
- Identify and prioritize health organizations, clinics, and wellness brands that align with our mission and would benefit from participating in the Health Fair
- Conduct outreach via phone, email, and LinkedIn to pitch participation opportunities
- Communicate exhibitor benefits, participation tiers, and logistics
- Track outreach, follow-ups, and confirmed commitments
- Coordinate with our events team to finalize exhibitor details ahead of the event
Who You Are
- Experience in business development, partnerships, sales, or outreach
- Confident communicator, comfortable pitching and following up with organizations
- Organized and able to manage a pipeline of prospective partners independently
- Familiarity with the health, wellness, or nonprofit space is a plus
- Passionate about women's health and closing the menopause research and awareness gap
Time Commitment
Flexible — a few hours per week through early October, with the ability to work around your schedule.
