Commitment: 5 hours/day (Pacific Time)

About the Role:

Rcoz is seeking an experienced video editor/Specialist to help increase awareness and engagement for our mental health initiatives, particularly within the South Asian community. Your expertise will ensure our stories, programs, and resources reach those who need them most.

Key Responsibilities:

• Edit short-form and long formvideos for Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube Shorts, and other social platforms.
• Create engaging reels, highlight videos, and event recaps.
• Add captions, graphics, music, and transitions to enhance storytelling.
• Repurpose long-form interviews, talks, and podcasts into bite-sized social media content.
• Collaborate with our team to develop compelling visual content that amplifies our mission.

We're Looking For Someone Who

• Has experience with video editing tools
• Has a good eye for storytelling, pacing, and visual design.
• Can meet agreed-upon deadlines and communicate effectively.
• Is passionate about using creativity for social impact.
• Experience with motion graphics or animation is a plus, but not required.

Qualifications:

• Passion for mental health awareness and creating measurable impact
• Self-starter, able to work independently and within a collaborative team
• Experience with nonprofits is a plus but not required
• Available between 10 AM - 3 PM PT on weekdays
• Bay Area preferred; hybrid role with occasional in-person meetings/events
• References required before starting
