Your Time Can Shape Their Future: Become a Youth Volunteer (No Experience Needed)

Help Atlanta students build financial skills for life!

Operation HOPE is looking for enthusiastic volunteers to support our Fall 2026 Youth Financial Dignity Program at Drew Charter Middle School in Atlanta.

As a volunteer facilitator, you'll help middle school students develop practical financial skills such as budgeting, saving, goal setting, and making informed financial decisions.

No teaching experience is required! Operation HOPE provides the curriculum, training, and resources you need to volunteer with confidence.

What You'll Do

• Facilitate engaging financial literacy lessons with students
• Encourage discussion and participation
• Help students connect financial concepts to everyday life
• Support a positive and engaging classroom environment
• Commit to a minimum of three (1-hour) sessions per month

• Reliability and willingness to learn
• Comfort working with middle school students
• Commitment to completing required volunteer onboarding

Age Requirement: 20+

Location: Drew Charter Middle School

Program Dates: September 16 to December 2

Schedule:

Weekly / Wednesdays

• 6th/7th Grade: 10:30 AM – 12:00 PM
• 8th Grade: 11:15 AM – 12:45 PM

Training: Provided

Experience: No teaching experience required
