Come join us at USC Hybrid High School for a two-hour fun and informative event where you can learn about all the exciting ways you can get involved and make a difference in your community. If you're passionate about education, youth development, and social impact, there is a place for you in the Minds Matter SoCal community. No prior experience is needed-just your willingness to help and learn!
What to Expect:
- Learn about the powerful impact of Minds Matter on students and how you can contribute.
- Hear firsthand from current volunteers and alumni about their experiences.
- Step into a session and get a real sense of what it's like to be a part of our unique community.

About Minds Matter: Minds Matter connects driven and determined students from low-income families with the people, preparation, and possibilities to succeed in college, create their future, and change the world. Every day we listen, learn, and grow with our students celebrating their voices and uniting behind their dreams. We believe a student’s zip code shouldn’t limit their opportunities for college or life. No matter where our students are from, they have strong visions for where they want to go. We work every day to deliver progressive and tailored programs that empower dreams, cultivate growth, and tackle challenges first generation/first in their family students face in their journey to college. Because college shouldn’t be a barrier - it should be a beginning.
